Poker enthusiasts and high-stakes players worldwide are gearing up for the highly anticipated return of the Super High Roller Bowl, set to take place at the luxurious Merit Royal Diamond Hotel and Spa in North Cyprus from August 23-25, 2024. This prestigious event, organized by PokerGO in collaboration with the Onyx Club at Merit Royal Cyprus, promises an unforgettable experience filled with intense poker action and massive cash prizes.

The Super High Roller Bowl, part of the full Super High Roller Bowl Series running from August 17-25, 2024, is one of the crown jewels of the high-stakes poker tournament scene.

With a jaw-dropping $300,000 buy-in, seven-handed play, and a freezeout format, Super High Roller Bowl IX will no doubt attract the game’s elite players, vying for the coveted title and a share of the immense prize pool.

Super High Roller Bowl Series Full Schedule

The Super High Roller Bowl Series at Merit Royal Cyprus will feature a total of 10 events, with buy-ins ranging from $25,000 to $300,000. Each event will follow a freezeout format.

Players can test their skills in both No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha events, with two special events featuring a $25,000 Mystery Bounty format.

One of the highlights of this year’s Super High Roller Bowl is the grand opening of Merit’s new Onyx Club, an exclusive invite-only members club dedicated to high-stakes poker and gaming.

Nestled within the opulent Merit Royal Cyprus resort, the Onyx Club offers a premium poker experience in the purpose-built Onyx Room, catering to the needs of high-stakes players.

Mori Eskandani, President of PokerGO, expressed his excitement about the return of the Super High Roller Bowl to North Cyprus, stating:

The last Super High Roller Bowl Series took place in September 2023. Isaac Haxton took down the $300K buy-in event before finishing as the runner-up to Jared Bleznick in the same series’ PLO tournament.

Haxton became the third player to notch a second SHRB win. Justin Bonomo was the first player to pull off the double, with Timothy Adams being the second. Bonomo then became the only player to have three SHRB wins after taking down the Online edition during the pandemic.

Brian Rast was the inaugural SHRB winner, and his $7,525,000 first-place prize remains the biggest payout awarded in the event’s history.
