Gear up for two months of bracelets in Vegas for what could be another record breaking summer at the World Series of Poker.
The biggest festival in poker gets underway again today, as the World Series of Poker is back for its 55th outing.
99 bracelet events will take place and a further 30 online bracelets will be up for grabs, between May 28 and July 17.
The series starts today, as always, with the $500 Casino Employees Event as well as the $5,000 Reunion Freezeout.
This year the series features a number of new events including a $5,000 Seniors High Roller and a $1,500 PLO Double Board Bomb Pot event.
The biggest ever Main Event, again?
The $10,000 Main Event gets underway between July 3-17.
Last year Daniel Weinman won a record-breaking Main Event, which boasted 10,043 players. With live poker still booming and FOMO from last year’s event, the smart money seems to be on us getting close to that record again this year.
