Is Pads going to finally make a run in the live High Rollers? A win and another final table in the first PGT events of 2025 suggests so.

The PokerGO Kickoff Series is a weeklong festival of $5,000 events followed by a $10,000 Main Event. It is the first PGT ranking series of 2025.
The one thing missing from online crusher Patrick Leonard’s resume would appear to be a big run in the live High Rollers. That might change this year.
He has just won the second PGT Kickoff event for $124,800 after making the final table in the first one.
As such he leads the 2025 PGT Leaderboard with 292 PGT Points. Very early days yet, but a sign of things to come?
Pads has been expressing an interest in the PGT Leaderboard and asking around about the events this year. Should he make a serious run at it, a Top 40 place is surely a lock?
