After a win in the $5,000 PLO event, Yockey has now set his sights on this year’s Player of the Year race.
It has been less than a week in the World Series of Poker and so far a lot of well-known names have taken gold, with this one being no exception.
Bryce Yockey has just taken down the $5,000 PLO event for his second career bracelet, having previously won the $10,000 PLO8 Championship in 2017 for $511,147.
He took down $606,654 after besting a field of 733 players in another impressive early field.
Congratulations to Bryce Yockey ( @SuddenlyBryce ) for winning Event #8: $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha.

It may have been seven years since his last bracelet, but he already has his sights on a second one this year and announced his intention to win the revamped Player of the Year title:
“I’m going to win another one this year. Like honestly, when I saw myself get drafted for $13 in the fantasy draft, I’m like, f*** these guys. I’m just going to win two bracelets instead. I do a morning affirmation every day and I just tell myself I’m going to win two, and I got one down so far.”
Bryce Yockey (@SuddenlyBryce) spoke with @DreaRenee_N after winning his first @WSOP bracelet in over seven years and the effort he put into playing Pot-Limit Omaha and preparing for this moment.
