Live poker continues to be on an upwards growth trajectory and that certainly was the case for GGPoker and WSOP Paradise last month.
They have just released their stats for the event which was the biggest festival to take place outside of Las Vegas. The $25,000 Super Main Event was the largest $25k tournament in history with 1,978 entries.
In total $160,756,135 was awarded and 28 players won over a million dollars.
A big year online
It was also a huge year for GGPoker at the online felt. A whopping $3.89 billion was awarded at their tournament tables last year with 4.87 billion hands played.
294 millionaires were made at their tables with the biggest winner scooping $8.23 million.
Our favourite stat, however, is the 14,414,440% ROI enjoyed by the player who turned a $2.50 satellite win into a $360,361 score – the dream does still happen now and then.
The growth of poker and GGPoker in particular does not show much sign of slowing, so let’s see what these stats look like at the end of 2025.
