$80 million is guaranteed starting on September 8 at PokerStars as the World Championship of Online poker returns.

Between September 8 and October 2, the 23rd instalment of the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) hits PokerStars.
379 tournaments across the Low, Medium, and High tiers will guarantee a combined $80 million. The buy-ins range between $5.50 all the way up to $25,000.
This year’s edition will see 12 World Champions crowned in an assortment of poker disciplines such as HORSE, 2-7 Triple Draw, 6-Max NLHE, PLO8, Heads-Up NLHE, Razz, NLHE PKO, 8-Game, Badugi, NLHE Women’s, NLHE, and 6-Max PLO.
The series culminates with the Main Events on September 29, which look like this:
- $109 NLHE WCOOP Main Event-L – $2.5M guaranteed
- $1,050 NLHE WCOOP Main Event-M – $3.5M guaranteed
- $10,300 NLHE WCOOP Main Event-H – World Championship of NLHE – $5M guaranteed
- $109 PLO WCOOP Main Event-L – $200K guaranteed
- $1,050 PLO WCOOP Main Event-M – $500K guaranteed
- $10,300 PLO WCOOP Main Event-H – World Championship of PLO – $800K guaranteed
Satellite packages will be available via PowerPath and regular qualifiers are already underway at PokerStars.
