The man with the most World Series of Poker cashes by a wide margin has finally won a bracelet, after 20 years of trying.

We often talk about the ‘best player without a bracelet’ and then cite a young Super High Roller as being hard done by because of a lack of a gold strap.

But what about if you have cashed 513 WSOP events and still no gold?

That was Roland Israelashvili’s resume last week, however after almost 20 years of playing World Series of Poker events, he finally won one.

He took down the $400 PLOSSUS PKO 6-Max event at WSOP.com online for $23,519, defeating a field of 444 players.

Israelashvili is the overall leader in WSOP cashes with 514 (including this latest win), way ahead of second place Arkadiy Tsinis with 461. When you filter this further, he is the leader for WSOP cashes, WSOP-C cashes, live and online. He also boasts 11 WSOP-C Rings.

His first World Series of Poker cash was in July 2005 and since then he has racked up $4,021,094 in cashes in WSOP events alone.

This latest one, while by no means his largest cash (his biggest was a 5th in the 2012 Players Championship for $317,882) will no doubt be his sweetest.
