The player better known as ‘Sk2ll_m0dR’ online became Germany’s 17th European Poker Tour Main Event champion.

1,284 entries for EPT Cyprus last week, meaning it just missed out on breaking its own record for the event.
It was a second seven-figure EPT title win of the year for Germany’s Oliver ‘Sk2ll_m0dR’ Weis. In addition to taking down this title for $1,030,000, he won the EPT Paris High Roller for $1,050,978 at the start of the year.
This time around he defeated local player Georgios Tsouloftas heads-up for the title, at a final table that included EPT champion Anton Wigg and Mikhail ‘innerpsy’ Shalamov.
It is always coming seven.

Weis overcame a 5-1 chip deficit heads-up to win the trophy
“I was kind of sure it wouldn’t be that easy today,” Weis told Joe Stapleton in his interview. “If one person doubles up, everything can go the wrong way. So you need to stay patient and just play your hands and your spots.”
Next up for the European Poker Tour is EPT Prague, which takes place from December 4-15.
