The rarest of things happened at the Playground in Canada, as the biggest bounties of all made it to the heads-up match.

One of the hallmarks of Mystery Bounty tournaments, indeed one of the things that make them exciting, is the biggest prize is almost always won away from the final table, at random.

In an absolute rarity last week at the Playground Poker Club in Canada, a player not only won a Mystery Bounty tournament, he also won the top two bounties heads-up.

Jimmy Setna took down the WSOP-C $800 Mystery Bounty tournament for $21,430 and the Ring. He also took down the $50,000 and $10,000 bounties heads-up because they were the final two bounties in play.

A couple of caveats. His opponent Qingwei Meng did take a portion of those bounties after a deal heads-up. Also, it was a policy of this particular tournament that the 2nd biggest bounty was held back and reserved for the final table, to make the finale exciting.

Still though, out of a field of 318 entries, the fact that the biggest single bounty survived till the heads-up stage is something of a rarity.

Should the 2nd biggest Mystery Bounty be reserved till the final table? Let us know in the comments:
