He now boasts Triton trophies in Short Deck, PLO and No Limit after a big win in Montenegro.
Mike Watson is fast becoming a legend of the Triton tour and has now bagged his 4th title.
He took down the $30,000 8-Handed event for $1,023,000 after defeating Kiat Lee heads-up. It was another packed field of 154 entries and the final table included Leon Sturm and Stephen Chidwick.
In doing so, he became the first player to win Triton titles in No Limit, Short Deck and Pot Limit Omaha.
“Every time you come to a Triton stop you want to come away with a trophy,” Watson said. “You want to get a win. It feels really good to get one in hold’em now, which I hadn’t done either. Just want to keep adding.”
The series carries on today with the finale of the $40,000 Mystery Bounty with a lot of big names still in contention.
