The Canadian GGPoker Pro can’t stop dealing until he hits a Royal Flush on his stream.
Kevin Martin is no stranger to novel and perhaps intrusive streaming challenges. Last year he streamed himself 24 hours a day and this year he has something equally as unusual.
Every day he is trying to deal out a Royal Flush live on stream. On Day 1 he has 1 try, on Day 2 he has 2 tries, etc. Every day that he does it, he adds more money to a pot that will be awarded to a subscriber when he (one day, possibly) finally hits the royal.
The odds of making a Royal Flush in Texas Hold’em is 649,739:1, which means this could literally take years or indeed never happen. After a whole year of this challenge, Kevin will have dealt 66,845 hands and it would take three years on that trajectory to have dealt 650,000 hands, with over 1,000 hands being dealt in a day towards the end.
This is assuming Kevin runs normally in the challenge, it could be over tomorrow or take even longer than projected.

What we are saying is that perhaps the Canadian GGPoker ambassador might eventually be bowing out graciously of this challenge assuming it doesn’t send him crazy beforehand.
This is as good a time to tell everyone that this writer has genuinely had about six Royal Flushes (and never got particularly paid with any of them).
