Lena900 is just two places away from poker history after a masterclass last night at the Main Event final table.
10,12 have become three at the Main Event final table. As was expected it was mostly an exhibition from online crusher Niklas ‘Lena900’ Astedt who did not put a foot wrong, busting four players and ending the day as the chip leader.
It is close though, as both Jordan Griff and Jonathan Tamayo are hot on his heels with big stacks themselves.
Niklas Astedt, with his fourth knockout of the night, has brought us down to the final three players who will advance to tomorrow.

The elimination of both Boris Angelov and Joe Serock meant that GGPoker have saved themselves a cool $1 million. They were the last two GGPoker online qualifiers for this event and would have earned an extra seven figures if they had won the Main Event sporting the GGPoker patch.
No one could have written the story of today’s Main Event Final Table. Short stacks grew and big stacks fell. After the dust had fallen, 6 were eliminated by the end of the night and just three players remained.

Seat | Player | Country | Chip Count | Big Blinds |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Niklas Astedt | Sweden | 223,000,000 | 74 |
2 | Jordan Griff | United States | 187,000,000 | 62 |
3 | Jonathan Tamayo | United States | 197,000,000 | 66 |
All three men are now guaranteed $4 million. The runner-up will get $6 million and there is a cool $10 million waiting for the eventual winner. That QQ fold from Tamayo on the final table bubble is looking pretty good right now.
