96 entries (of which 22 were re-entries) turned out for the Triton Million, an invite-only tournament of VIPs and professional player pairings, with a $500,000 buy-in.

This was the first time a Triton event was also a bracelet event, and it was Argentine battle rapper Alejandro “Papo MC” Lococo who took it down for $12,070,000.

He defeated British professional Ben Heath heads-up for the trophy and bracelet, at a final table that included Alex Foxen and Daniel Dvoress.

Given the size of the event, it means Lococo jumps into 2nd on the Argentina all-time money list just behind Jose Ignacio Barbero. He will also leapfrog Patrik Antonius on the 2024 money rankings and his win was the biggest single score in poker this year.

So a very impressive start for the high roller series that is WSOP Paradise – all eyes will soon be on the Main Event which is guaranteeing a gargantuan $50 million.
